Child Care Subsidy
Services Australia provides up to date information on the government's various subsidies including the Child Care Subsidy scheme designed to assist parents with the cost of childcare. To be eligeable families must meet the residency requirements, be liable to pay for care under a complying written agreement, be caring for a child under 13 years old who meets the immunisation requirements and attends a child care program by an approved provider. The level of Subsidy a family can receive depends on a families income, activity test and the service type being used.
National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care
The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care applies to most long day care, family day care, preschool and kindergarten, and outside schools hours care services.
