Starbright early learning is a fully accredited and approved childcare centre and kindergarten.

We adhere to the Early Childhood Australia code of ethics and UN Declaration on the rights of a child.

We are a member of Sun Smart Victoria, Asthma Foundation and many more relevant associations.

All of our Educators hold a minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood and Education and each room has a Lead Educator who holds a Diploma in early childhood or higher.

We promote a positive culture for our Educators to futher their studies and share their newly gained knowledge with our Educators, Families and to the benefit of the children.

Our Educators all hold a current First Aid certificate and have undertaken Child Protection Training

Starbright early learning operates 52 weeks per year

Monday - Friday

We are open from 7am - 6pm

(we are closed on public holidays)

The everyday essentials for a day of fun at Starbright are;

* A piece of fruit or vegetable to be placed in our Fruit Basket (this is then used for our afternoon tea)

* Back pack

* Labelled Drink Bottle

* Spare Change of clothes appropriate for the weather

* Labelled Legionnaire or Bucket hat for outdoor play

* Warm Jacket or Jumper for cooler days

* 4 - 5 Nappies per day if required or Sleep nappy if toilet training

* Labelled Bottle for milk if required (Starbright provides cows milk)

* Formula if required

* Comforters | Dummy

Starbright early learning provides all of your child's meals and we offer fresh water and milk throughout the day.

We have Morning tea at 8.30am, offering either Cereal or Apple, Cheese and Crackers

A Nutritious hot Lunch at 11.10am, using fresh vegetables and catering to individual children's allergies | dietary requirements | cultural requirements

We have Afternoon tea at 2pm, offering a fruit plate and savoury option  such as Sandwiches, Vegetable sticks or Rice Crackers

A Late snack at 5.15, usually apple, cheese and crackers.

**We are an allergy aware environment and we ask that families do not bring food items into Starbright unless previously discussed with your child's educators.** 

To enrol your child at Starbright and be placed on our waitlist you can click the "Join Our Starbright Family" button at the top of the page and complete the form. 

Alternatively you can call the centre and speak to the director, where you will be able to schedule a tour of Starbright and complete an "Expression of Interest" form which will also place you on the waitlist, the director will then contact you when a space becomes avaliable.

Children need to be fully immunised, have an exemption certificate or be on a recognised catch up schedule to be enrolled at Starbright.

We will collect a copy of this upon enrolment, and ask families to send through an updated schedule as your child has future vaccinations to ensure our records are kept up to date. 

Please note; any missed immunisations or delays in your child receiving their immiunisations can result in Centrelink ceasing your Child Care Subsidy until the missed vaccination has been administered.
