We believe that our Star Caregivers are an outstanding team of staff and one of our greatest assets, and as a result we pride ourselves not only the quality of the staff that we choose for our centre, but also the way that we look after them to ensure their work is continually of the highest standard.

We provide them with regular in-house training and assistance in furthering their own qualifications. We strive to create an environment in which our star caregivers are supported through their own personal and professional development. We work together to form a team who respect, value and share our knowledge and skills to provide an interesting and fun environment through out the day for each and every child.

Caregivers

Our dedicated Star Carers are carefully chosen and have the appropriate educational background to ensure quality care. They are friendly, patient, enthusiastic, understanding, trustworthy and model positive attitudes and behaviours.

We work as a team sharing responsibilities and have the ability to relate openly to children and adults. Starbright Carers are trained in early develop-ment with a balance of mature, qualified and experienced staff.

Our Star Carers give lots of personalised support, love and attention to all children; this approach creates a fun environment throughout the day for each and every child.

Kitchen Chef

We have our very own chef, that daily prepares morning tea, hot lunch and afternoon tea, that are the most fresh, delicious, well balanced and healthy meals to ensure quality and taste. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always on the menu. (See menu).

We also provide an individual menu to those children who have special diet requirements or suffer from known or suspected allergies, and we completely exclude those more common potential allergies (eg nuts) as a precaution.

Centre Director/Owner

Janelle Ienco is the owner and operator of the centre. Janelle manages the overall functioning of the centre and has qualifications in child care with ten years experience working with children and also has 2 children of her own.

First Aid Qualifications

All our caregivers have a current First aid certificate. We provide St John’s first aid training in the centre to parents interested.
